Reservations
Bookings are considered definite from the moment a confirmation has been sent either by e-mail or post.
Cancellation
Changes/cancellation of a booking made later than 2 weeks prior to the agreed date on which the booking was to commence will incur a charge of 75% of the total cost of the booked tour(s). A charge will not be incurred, if another person/group should want to book the tour for the same period. Cancellation due to illness must be accompanied by a doctor's certificate. All other costs related to/caused by the cancellation must be paid by the customer.
Liability
It is the customer's responsibility to make sure all expenses are paid to SDOOK, regardless of the possibility that the various participants may be paying individually. In case of extreme spring flooding, fire or broken boats and other circumstances beyond SDOOKs' control, or ability to predict at the time the booking was made, gives SDOOK the contractual right to cancel a booking/reservation without being required to pay damages in any form.
Terms of Payment
A (non refundable) 20% deposit is required to be paid by the customer after booking confirmation has been received, be it by e-mail or post. The remainder of the fee is to be paid upon arrival. When paying by invoice, the remainder of the fee should have reached us at least 14 days prior to the commencing date of the booking/reservation. Interest of 11% is added and charged on the date of payment to overdue payments. |
